Assistant IT Manager

CHP is seeking an Assistant IT Manager to be based in Van Wert, Ohio. This position supports all CHP equipment and systems operation and administrative tasks including Microsoft applications and networking, various phone systems and EMR system.

At CHP Home Care & Hospice, our mission is to provide comprehensive home health and hospice services to the people of Northwest/West Central Ohio. We are seeking a creative individual for the position of Assistant IT Manager.

As a community-based, nonprofit organization each CHP office is deeply rooted in its local communities and is an integral part of not only the health care delivery system, but part of the local fabric.

This position reports directly to the IT Manager and works closely with the office managers and supervisors at 12 area locations.

SALARY:  Competitive
HOURS:  Full-time      
LOCATION:  Position available in: Van Wert

Examples of duties include:  

  • Supervise the company’s day-to-day IT activity ensuring all standards are followed
  • Comply with the company’s IT Security Policy as it pertains to hardware, software, security/data safety
  • Assist in the proper backup of all business related, user relevant data
  • Schedule routine, preventative maintenance and daily clerical functions regarding integrity of computer systems
  • Support and maintain the stand-alone systems
  • Troubleshoot network issues as required
  • Liaise with hardware and software vendors on a regular basis to remain current with technology changes
  • Install software/hardware upgrades in compliance with the Company’s policies & legal requirements

MINIMUM APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS

  • Associates degree or related experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer Skills(A+/N+ preferred)
  • Good transportation and proof of current driver’s license

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • College degree in information technology or related field a plus, not required
