An Elida High School student that was the driver of a pickup truck which crashed on August 12th of last year, killing two others, was in Allen County Juvenile Court today for his first appearance.

Slygh entered a plea of denial which is much like what a not guilty plea would be in adult court.

If convicted, he could have to serve up to 90 days in a juvenile detention facility on each charge.

His next hearing before Judge Glenn Derryberry is pending.
