Master Control Operator Duties & Responsibilities: Will be responsible for operating Digital Broadcast software for multiple stations. The operator is directly involved with airing TV programs and commercials on our four broadcast channels, monitoring transmitter readings, acquiring satellite recordings, and preparing video content for future airing. The operator will also be involved with the processing of traffic logs into the automation system on a daily basis. Applicant must have the ability to multitask, give/receive direction, and communicate effectively by creating e-mails, letters, and memos, conducting face-to-face discussions and problem solving, and working cooperatively and proficiently with other departments and co-workers in a professional manner. Must handle pressure well, be able to think through situations, and act quickly and methodically. Common sense, ambition, eye for detail, pride in performance, and prompt/maintained high attendance are expected. Experience is preferred but paid training is available. Position is 40 hr/per week with vacation & benefit package. The schedule will include evenings/weekends and working occasional holiday relief hours. Interested in this position?
