An Allen County industry is supporting a small Auglaize County town to continue its legacy.

PotashCorp donating $25,000 to the Legacy Park Project in the Village of Cridersville. The park is being built at the former site of the elementary school at 300 East Main Street. It's a joint effort of the Cridersville Historical Society, Lions Club, and village.

Potash General Manager, Todd Sutton says they are excited to be a sponsor of Legacy Park and believe in its mission. "That is a lot of history for a lot of people and brought a lot of people together, so I think this is real fitting this park is a legacy park and will memorialize that school for all those years and all those people that its brought together as a small community."

"This is great. It goes to show that small town living is still the best," commented Cridersville Mayor, Rick Walls.
