A motorcycle crash in Shelby County has left one person dead. 

The Shelby County Sheriff's Office report the driver of a 2000 Harley Davidson was traveling northbound on the 4000-block of Tawawa road when the driver failed to negotiate the curve and traveled off the right side of the roadway.

The bike struck a parked trailer. The operator was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. While the accident is still under investigation, police believe speed and alcohol were both factors in the accident.
