Saturday morning (07/15/2017) was one time when playing in the mud was a good thing to help out the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Toledo.

The 4th annual mud volleyball tournament at Ada War Memorial Park features teams from Northwest Ohio and beyond to raise money for the local Down syndrome association.  The association helps people with Down syndrome as well as their families and communities.  Some of the original founders of the tournament say that it's a fun way to get people together for one good cause.

"It gets the kids out here and just gets the community more involved with the Down syndrome association - we have over 400 families involved in our association from Toledo all the way down to Lima, so it's a great way to come out and support a great cause," said Brad Eaton.

Last year, the tournament raised 6 thousand dollars.
