Peters is being charged with aggravated murder, murder, felonious assault, and endangering children after Peters allegedly caused the death of Hayden Ivan Ridinger. The most that Peters can face now is life in prison. Peters still remains in the Van Wert County Jail on a two million dollar bond, his final pre-trial date is set for August 14th and 15th.

Valerie Dean is awaiting trial on felony charges of involuntary manslaughter and child endangerment for the death of her son Hayden.
