A vehicle chase in Findlay Friday morning ended with a damaged home, a gas leak, and several other accidents along the way.

Marcus Sierra is now in custody on unrelated active warrants for his arrest and is being charged with fleeing and eluding, failing to stop at a stop sign, and leaving the scene of a crash. A Findlay police officer stopped Sierra at a traffic stop this morning at a McDonald's parking lot on Tiffin Avenue. Sierra initially stopped, but then took off. The chase ended going west all the way Londonderry Drive.

At one point Sierra lost control and drove through the yard and driveway of a home on Londonderry. The vehicle also struck a parked car and a small camper. Sierra went under the trailer and pushed the trailer into the porch and roof of a house causing a gas leak. Columbia Gas was called to the scene to turn the gas off to the house.

Sierra fled on foot but with the help of the public, officers were able to locate Sierra. He is now at the Hancock County Justice Center.
