Arrest made in connection to McComb watershed fire

An arrest has been made in connection to the McComb water vending shed that was intentionally set on fire in Hancock County back in February.

47-year-old Phillip Terry was arrested on Tuesday by the McComb Police Department and indicted on charges of arson and tampering with a coin machine. Terry is now at the Hancock County Justice Center.

The fire occurred at the Northwestern Water and Sewer District on February 28, 2017 at around 7 a.m. The Hancock Joint Fire District found the watershed had been broken into and an undisclosed amount of money was stolen. The investigation was conducted by the Fire Marshal's Office, the McComb Police Department and Fire Department.
