Santa showed up to Marimor School Friday night without his reindeer, without a loud "ho-ho-ho" and without all the bells and whistles.

Sensitive Santa is an event that allows special needs children and their families to have a fun holiday activity evening with Santa. But here, Santa keeps to himself and allows the children to approach him when they want and are ready. "Its awesome because when Santa first comes in you'll see them look at him 'Who is this strange guy in this big red suit?'" said Vice President of West Central Ohio Autism Community, Tera Viola. "But by the end of the evening they're interacting with him. They're giving him hugs. They're giving him high fives, telling him goodbye. They also make him Christmas lists and give it to him."

Viola said the event is great because parents tell her it is the only time they can get pictures of their kids with Santa.
