A man is being treated for multiple gun shot wounds after a shooting in Shawnee Township late Tuesday night.

Officers were dispatched to the area of 111 Cam Court around 11:30 PM, finding empty shell casings near the apartment complex, and started asking neighbors if they heard or saw anything. Not long after midnight, St. Rita's Medical Center called Shawnee Police, reporting 19-year-old Justin Hunter of Elida was being treated for non-life threatening gunshot wounds, saying he was shot in Shawnee Township. One juvenile male was questioned, had his apartment searched, and was then released to his parents.

"We got a list of people we're trying to contact to interview," said Police Chief Mike Keith. "We have some evidence collected and we're also looking for a specific piece of evidence at this time."

Hunter has yet to be interviewed by detectives.
