The Lima teen accused of shooting a man to death during a robbery is considering a plea deal to reduce his jail time.

19-year-old Jayleon'tre Harris appeared before Judge Jeffrey Reed to hear the prosecution's deal. Harris and his attorney have until Wednesday to accept the offer to avoid a jury trial which is set for February 20, 2018. This is the second deal he has been offered to reduce the number of charges against him. He is facing counts of aggravated murder, robbery, and burglary. He could be facing life in prison if he's found guilty.
