Concerned with how your children are developing? Developmental screenings were held at Market St. Presbyterian Church on Tuesday.

Parents with children from birth to age five could receive developmental screenings on a variety of areas including dental, behavior and motor skills. The event is free and began at four Tuesday afternoon. Rachel Staley of the Allen County Board of Developmental Disabilities said they put on the screenings for parents with concerns about their children's health. All the professionals involved in the screenings are volunteers.

"If the parent has concerns we want to address it right away, but we know that early intervention is a key," said Early childhood Supervisor Staley. "So we want to get those kids the services that they need right away. We truly believe early intervention is a key to their success."
