Congressman Jim Jordan says the swamp has won and the American taxpayer has lost in last week's budget bill.

Jordan said he didn't vote for the temporary budget bill and during an interview on Fox News Sunday he says what happened last week was not consistent with what he says the American people elected lawmakers to do. Jordan is a member of the Freedom Caucus and has always been a fiscal watchdog while in Congress and when he was a member of the state legislature. He is upset that his fellow Republicans didn't hold their ground in regards to increased spending in the budget bill.

"Our leadership said no no no, let's do what Washington always does, let's just spend more on everything let's just grow government, give into the Democrats instead of fight and stand firm and do what the people elected us to do, they gave into the Democrats, and we got this boondoggle that we passed," said Rep. Jim Jordan, (R) Ohio 4th District Congressman.
