Community members are getting an opportunity to enhance their chances for a career in manufacturing.

Part of Rhodes State College, the West Central Ohio Manufacturing Consortium is providing free classes on manufacturing training at the Bradfield Community Center. For two hours, two days a week, participants will learn basic workplace etiquette, brush up math skills, and learn on the job safety. During the ten-week course, the participants will take a midterm and final to earn their certification. In the first week, the class worked on team building and icebreakers in the workplace, as well as workplace moral do's and don'ts.

After completion participants earn job referrals, job opening information, and invitations to job fairs.
