A driver is dead after leading Hancock County law enforcement on a chase and crashing into a house.

Findlay Police say 48-year-old Crystal Moore of Findlay is dead following the chase early Wednesday morning. Police were contacted by Crawford County officials to be on the lookout for the car that had been involved in another chase there. A Findlay officer spotted Moore in the 2800 block of South Main Street just before 4 a.m. The pursuit went through the southwest part of town and continued to Mortimer. The driver crossed over the railroad tracks there and slammed into a house. Firefighters and EMTs rushed to the scene but the driver was found dead in the car. 

An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow at the Lucas County Coroner's Office.
