As graduation approaches, some high school students are preparing for the workforce.

Ohio Means Jobs hosted a group of Lima Senior High School students for In-Demand Jobs Week. It's a statewide celebration of jobs and skills in-demand in Ohio. Students learned about how they're wired and what jobs would suit them, learned about their personal brand, and met with a job coach to build a resume. Lastly, the students heard about what jobs are always in need. A Lima City official said civil services are always needed: police officers, firefighters, and construction and maintenance employees.

Director for the Governor's Office of Workforce Transformation, Ryan Burgess, was scheduled to speak with the students but couldn't make the event.
