Kewpee gets recognized by Sec. of State's Office

Main Street Ohio Month is spotlighting eight businesses from around the state that are family or independently owned and are considered staples in their community. The Ohio Secretary of State's Office has named May "Main Street Ohio Month" and they are recognizing a Lima business that has been a staple since 1928.

Representatives from the Ohio Secretary of State's Office presented Kewpee with a certificate highlighting its accomplishments over its 90-year history.  Main Street Ohio Month is spotlighting eight businesses from around the state that are family or independently owned and are considered staples in their community. The iconic hamburger restaurant has been serving generations of families in West Central Ohio, as well as finding ways to support programs like 4-H and the local arts.

Besides Kewpee, the Secretary of State's Office also honored Dietsch Brothers in Findlay for providing homemade ice cream and candy for 80 years to Hancock and the surrounding area.
