Young astronauts and science lovers alike spent the week learning at the Armstrong Air and Space Museum.

33 children from second to seventh grade went through astronaut camp at the museum, doing activities that are centered on aviation and space exploration, like learning about robotics with the Van Wert Robotics Team Thursday morning. Organizers say that the students have been very curious throughout the week.

"The best part of this week has been their smiles, seeing them get excited about science, because they do get very excited about science, about space, they’re all about asking questions and especially about Mars, because they know what time someone is going to be going to Mars in their lifetime, so they’re constantly asking questions - how, when, why, what do they have to do, all the stuff to prepare for that?" said museum educator Ellen Engle.
