The two nurse aides who are facing charges in connection to the elderly woman who froze to death at a Putnam County nursing home in January will be tried at the same time.

20-year-old Destini Fenbert and 36-year-old Rachel Friesel were indicted by a Putnam County Grand Jury on the charges of involuntary manslaughter, forgery, gross patient neglect, and patient neglect. Their cases are scheduled to be in front of a jury on September 10th. The trial is expected to last three days.  

They were charged in connection to the death of 76-year-old Phyllis Campbell. Campbell died from hypothermia after wandering into the courtyard at the Hilty Home in Pandora, through an open door after midnight on January 7th. She wasn't found until after eight in the morning.  

31-year-old Megan Schnipke who was the licensed practical nurse at the time of the incident is facing forgery, gross patient neglect, and patient neglect charges and is scheduled to have her trial in November.
