The Lima Rotary Club invited out the manager of the Allen County Fair to give members a little taste of what's to come.

Bob Fricke gave a rundown of what to expect at this year's fair, which runs from August 17th to the 25th. He answered questions regarding ticket sales, safety and security for the fair. Fricke said the new entertainment to see will be the headlining act of Darcy Lynn and Friends and Moto-Madness. He said it's the fan favorites that will drive people out to the fair such as harness racing, demolition derby and the free concert on August 19th.

"If we have good weather, we've got great events happening," said Fricke. "Throughout the grounds, you can walk around and see a tiger show in the back of the grounds, see a BMX show in the front. Walk up and see a band happening, take in another show, take in the livestock shows happening, go down for fine art exhibits. Fair food, you can't beat it. There's truly something for everybody at the Allen County Fair."
