Hours after a jobs plan announcement in Cincinnati, the Democratic candidate for lieutenant governor, Betty Sutton, was in Lima promoting her ticket's agenda.

It is called "Better Skills, Better Jobs". This statewide tour believes every Ohioan should have the training so they can get a good paying job in order to support themselves and their families, regardless of whether or not they have a college degree. Sutton, as well as the gubernatorial candidate Rich Cordray, support innovative workforce development programs they believe will create pathways for middle-class Ohioans.

"We're gonna focus on putting workers first so if we invest in empowering our workforce with the training and skills that will allow them to excel not only today but tomorrow we will all be benefiting," said Sutton.
