The Allen County Regional Transit Authority Board held their regular meeting this afternoon to discuss several topics, including future plans.

Since the RTA will not be on the ballot this November, they are looking at different ways that they can continue to help out the community. The Executive Director of RTA, Shelia Haney, says that they are considering helping out different employers in the area to transport employees.

"We're looking at every avenue we possibly can to basically try to provide the services that the community needs," Haney said. "We are meeting with some of those factories to see if there's anything we can do, maybe shuttle services to assist getting employees to work."

RTA says that they are also applying for a grant to build a bigger fueling station for city and county non-profits. They say the fueling station is currently the RTA's biggest source of revenue.
