The former Indian Lake superintendent loses his civil suit against the school district about his termination following charges he had sexual contact with a preteen girl back in 2013.

According to the Logan County Clerk of Court's website, a judge has ruled that Indian Lake School District did everything properly to fire 53-year-old Patrick O'Donnell after multiple charges of rape and sexual battery were filed against him. O'Donnell took a plea deal in February and was sentenced to four and half years in prison to one count of gross sexual imposition.

O'Donnell was fired by the board in November of last year, months after being charged. However, a state official recommended the board not to fire him until the board saw how the criminal case proceeded.

O'Donnell is currently serving his sentence in London Correctional Institution.
