A blanket of fog caused delays and even some cancellations for schools around our area this week (9/14/18), but many people still had to make their way to work on time. Law enforcement wants to remind drivers to keep cautious on the roads in those situations.

"When we're talking about foggy conditions, especially this time of year when we're seeing it a little bit more often, you may want to take it a step further and maybe turn off the radio, maybe turn off your cell phone," says Sgt. Alec Coil with the Ohio State Highway Patrol. "It's maybe a good idea to, if possible, roll your windows down and employ more of your senses like your hearing.'

Coil also says giving yourself a little bit of extra time is also a good idea when driving in foggy conditions.
