Investigators returned to Interstate 75 this afternoon concerning the case involving the remains of a Michigan man found along the highway last week.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation, searching the grassy area around mile marker 151 in the southbound lane of I-75. The patrol has released a statement that they have found more evidence in the case of 39-year-old David Carter. Carter was from Melvindale, Michigan and his partial remains were found last Monday, October 1st by an Ohio Department of Transportation worker who was mowing along the interstate at mile marker 148 in the northbound lane.

Officials were conducting another search today when what they say is "additional evidence" was found. Fox 2 in Detroit recently reported that other remains of Carter were found on October 3rd near his apartment in Michigan.
