The Elida FFA had their annual Apple Butter Day on Thursday.

FFA student members had different exhibits to teach elementary students about agriculture and livestock, ranging from farm animals, farm safety and of course, apple butter.  This has been an Elida tradition since 1973. The members say this is a great event because it teaches students more about science and the agriculture field.

Elida FFA Student Advisor, Connor Wagner says, "We are trying to educate the elementary students here on agricultural opportunities because agriculture is the #1 business in Allen County so we want to teach them a little bit about that. Make sure if they want to go into that, we have that field open for them and they have a head start."
