Over 80 employers from the area and all over the country set up shop at UNOH to talk to students in the college of applied technologies about what their post-college plans are. The fair helps give students an idea of what career might be best for them, but it is just as important for businesses like Prevost, who is constantly expanding and growing but often has trouble filling the positions because of preconceived notions.

"It used to be a connotation with skilled labor that you were gonna be dirty and greasy and you were just not very educated. That's not the case anymore. We need educated people, a lot more computer-driven people, to do diagnostics on this type of equipment because they are very very much driven by computers now. It's very very hard to find these people, it's a very diminishing population to try to get to as well," explained Billy Oakes, HR Business Partner for Prevost, Nova, and Volvo Bus.

Oakes said that one of the positives about students coming from UNOH  is that they often are already familiar with the parts and procedures used at Prevost.
