Lima Senior High School transformed into a pancake house this afternoon for Sertoma Club's annual Pancake Day.

From 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., the club served thousands of community members, who were there to support the community, and also eat some freshly made pancakes. It takes over 100 volunteers to make this event happen every year. It costs $5 for adults to get in, and all of the money raised is carefully dispersed.

All of the funds raised are donated to local causes, such as speech and hearing clinics.

"We try to give to everybody really. If there's a need in Lima and they come to us, we try to give what we can. And that's why we have these days, so that we can have that the funds and be able to give to their cause," says Co-Chair Adam Rector.

Those who ate in the cafeteria could go up for seconds. However, the fundraiser also had a drive through for those in a hurry.
