A local company makes a major donation to help not only Tri Star Career Compact but their own future as well.

Celina Aluminum Precision Technology, also known as CAPT, donated $200,000 to Tri Star's robotics program. Robotics is a growing field and Tri Star is looking to increase there class size to 50 students when the new building, which is currently under construction, is complete next year. CAPT's donation to Tri Star is more of an investment into making sure they have the skilled workers for years to come.

“To support the local community is so important and I believe that is one of our missions. And also to support our younger generation is important for the community’s future and our future too. So a very very bright future is waiting for skilled younger students," said Yutaka Ito, President of CAPT, Inc.

“We just added our first robot three or four years ago, so this will allow us for future growth and future technology as it changes because robotics are not the cheapest piece of equipment. So this will allow us, for adults and students both, to have the latest technology that we trained on. Which in turn will help CAPT to have a great workforce, to continue to grow and expand what they have been doing for years,” said Tim Buschur, Director of Tri Star Career Compact.

The Tri-Star 2.0 project is expected to be complete in July 2019.
