The project is estimated at 2.1 million dollars with 1.9-million dollars coming from the Ohio Department of Transportation Safety Fund. The remaining $225,000 will be a loan from the Ohio Public Works Commission. Construction on Wayne Street will be between Central Avenue and Cole Street.

"This project will also include the reconstruction of three intersection signals that of Jameson, Metcalf, and Main. The whole focus of this is to move traffic efficiently but more safely," explained Howard Elstro, Lima Public Works Director.
