With Election Day next Tuesday, supporters of the Allen County Regional Transit Authority are working to educate voters about the levy that is on the ballot. The Allen County RTA is the only Regional Transit Authority in Ohio that doesn't have a designated local funding source. They receive federal grant money based on their ridership and miles driven. The dollar amount of the grants depends on a 50% match in local dollars. That is why they have put the 1-tenth of one percent levy on the ballot to try and secure the federal money.
