Construction continues for the Elida School district's new solar panel project. A total of 6,000 solar panels will be installed at both the middle and high schools. 3,500 will be placed at the high school and 2,500 at the middle school. This was all made possible through a power contract with Entrust, LLC. The new solar panels will be of no cost to the district. They will pay Entrust LLC. a reduced rate for electricity, which will save the school district thousands of dollars.
