Work Schedule: 40 hours a week

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following (though other duties may be assigned as applicable):

  • Research and publish the on-air community calendars
  • Write, produce, and perform on-air script of dates and details of community events
  • Communicate with internal departments regarding community event calendar updates
  • Research, select, and refresh (if needed) PSAs into the traffic systems and provide necessary information to traffic control
  • Produce PSAs for local non-profit organizations to promote themselves or an event to include meeting with the client, development of a script, managing the shoot of video/audio, creating production script, and entering the traffic information in wide orbit


  • Degree in Communications, Broadcast Journalism or related multi-media field. – Required
  • Experience in researching and posting digital media content - Required
  • Fluency in English - Required
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written with the ability to ad lib when required. - Required
  • Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment -Required
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - - Required
  • Knowledge of Ohio and Midwest markets - Preferred
  • Prior on-camera and/or voice over experience – Preferred
