Adrianna Michaels
Hello everyone! My name is Adrianna Michaels and I'm from a suburb of Cleveland (Go Cavs!). I am so excited to be living in West Central Ohio.

I graduated Cum Laude from Ohio University in May of 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology and a Journalism minor. During my time at OU, I was able to work with WOUB-PBS Newswatch on campus and anchor for the weather department during a student-run newscast 5 days a week at 6:30 PM. I interned with WOIO Cleveland 19 News and their Weather Team in the summer of 2017. Here, I was able to help forecast, update the web and graphics and I got to experience my first ever program cut-in for a tornado warning. In the summer of 2018, I interned with the morning team at WBNS 10TV in Columbus. I assisted Ashlee Baracy (the morning meteorologist) with forecasting and updating the web.

When I am not spending my time at WLIO, I love working out and trying different places to eat (all about balance right?). I'm an avid Netflix and Hulu watcher, so if you have any suggestions (show or food) - send them my way!

If you have any story ideas, weather related pictures, or just want to say hi - you can reach me at amichaels@wlio.com or on Facebook @AMichaelsWLIO and Twitter @AMichaels_WX. Otherwise, watch me on weekends at 6 and 11 PM!
