A man was stabbed in the neck Thursday night at 11:20 p.m. in the 600 Block of Harrison Avenue. The Lima Police Department was dispatched to Lima Memorial Hospital for stabbing victim, 20-year-old Tamoze Thorton, of Lima. The victim was taken in by family after being attacked by an unknown black man with a knife. Mr. Thorton was reportedly stabbed in the neck during this unprovoked attack.
The suspect was described as a dark-complected black man, in his late 30’s or early 40’s, with a medium build, and wearing all dark clothing. The suspect was said to be attempting to sell a computer tablet prior to the attack. Mr. Thorton’s condition is unknown, but his wounds are not believed to be life threatening.
