36-year-old John Kehoe appeared in court today (8/8/19) and was filled in on the medical condition of his attorney Steve Chamberlain. He suffered a medical emergency and was expecting to be out of work through this month. Kehoe previously pleaded not guilty to three counts of rape. With Chamberlain out, his trial date of Sept. 3 has now been vacated. Should Chamberlain remain unable to work Kehoe was made aware he may need a new attorney. Judge Terri Kohlrieser did say that a few attorneys have stepped up for court-appointed counsel since the commissioners increased their pay last week.
