On 3-7-2019 a female reported to police that a male that she knows assaulted her. The female told officers that she arrived home and found the male at her residence. She says that the assault occurred when she asked him to leave.
On 3-8-2019 officers were alerted to a female that had possibly attempted to harm herself. Officers arrived and met with the female who did admit to taking a large amount of medication. The female also admitted to making statements of self-harm. The female refused any medical treatment so she was taken into custody and transported to the hospital for treatment.
On 3-8-2019 a male came to the police department to report a theft incident. The male told officers that his son’s book bag and iPhone was stolen while at school. The male said the bag and cell phone were taken from a locker. The incident remains under investigation.
On 3-9-2019 a male came to the police department to report a Theft. The male told officers that his girlfriend’s ring was stolen from inside his residence. The male reported that the father of his girlfriend’s children was babysitting and when he left they found that the ring was missing. The male stated that items of his had been gone through as well, but nothing else was missing.
On 3-10-2019 officers and Delphos EMS were called to a residence in the 600 block of E. 6th St, in reference to an unresponsive female. Officers and EMS personnel arrived and located the female and began administering first aid. The female soon regained consciousness and refused any further treatment. The female, identified as, 39 year old Bonita Fraley, of Delphos, was issued a summons to appear in Lima Municipal Court to face the charges of Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments and Disorderly Conduct.
On 3-10-2019 a male came to the Delphos Police Department to report a misuse of his credit card. The male found that purchases were made using credit card by an unknown person. The incident remains under investigation.
On 3-11-2019 officers received a complaint of a stolen motor vehicle. An employee at Delpha Chevrolet reported that sometime over the weekend a 2008 Ford truck was stolen from their lot. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Delphos Police Department. The incident is being investigated by the Detective Bureau.
On 3-13-2019 officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Moening St, in reference to an unresponsive female. Officers arrived and located the female. A short time later Delphos EMS personnel arrived and began administering first aid to the female. The female, identified as 28 year old Tiffany Bowers, of Delphos, was issued a summons to appear in Lima Municipal Court to face the charges of Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments as well as Disorderly Conduct.
On 3-13-2019 a male came to the police department to report an incident involving his daughter at school. The male stated that his 18 year old daughter was confronted by the mother of another student. The male said that he wanted the incident documented in case of further issues. The female was located and advised to have no contact with the student. The female stated that she was addressing issues of bullying, but would not have any further contact with the female.
On 3-13-2019 officers were sent to the 100 block of N. Clay St, in reference to a Theft. Officers met with the homeowner and found that a chainsaw was stolen from his detached garage. A description was given of the chainsaw and the incident remains under investigation.
On 3-13-2019 officers were dispatched to a business in the 1100 block of Elida Ave, in regards to a shoplifting incident. Officers met with an employee and found that a display of items by the cash register was stolen. Officers viewed video footage of the male in the store as well as video of the vehicle sitting outside. Officers were able to make a positive identification of the male and will soon be issuing him a summons to appear in Lima Municipal Court.
On 3-15-2019 an officer on patrol conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after observing the license plates not matching the vehicle. During the traffic stop officers found that the driver, 30 year old Anthony Jones Jr, of Delphos, had 3 active warrants for his arrest and was driving the vehicle on a suspended driver’s license. Jones was taken into custody and transported to the Allen County Jail.
