LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — Downtown Lima was bustling as families visited local businesses during the Holiday Festival.
Dozens of businesses participated, offering activities such as holiday movies, ornament making, photos with the Grinch and characters from Frozen, and even a S’Mores bar. The festival aims not only to provide a fun afternoon for kids and parents but also to encourage visitors to explore downtown Lima.
“We had dozens of locations that are having events today for the Holiday Festival. It's really great to just get out, get into new places, see our revitalization and our new progress happening in downtown Lima and what better ways to do it than during the holiday,” said Cricket Rodriguez, executive director of Downtown Lima Inc.
Rodriguez added that she is glad to see the public come out and support small businesses during the holiday season.
