Counterfeit currency seems to be going around lately in Findlay.
The Findlay Police Department says they've received an increase in reports involving fake bills over the last two weeks. The denominations have been 10 and 20 dollar bills. Most of the bills have been passed at restaurants and convenience stores.
Findlay Police Department says employees handling cash should scrutinize the money and immediately notify the department if they believe a counterfeit bill has been passed. They ask that descriptions of the suspects and vehicle, including a license plate number be obtained.
