The Bellefontaine Examiner says associates were informed of the production adjustment during the afternoon shift change Thursday. The paper says workers were told the change in production schedule will start on August 1st, affecting line 1 second shift and continue indefinitely, with hopes of resuming the production within a few years. The company said no immediate impact on employment is expected, but said the change will impact production at the Anna engine plant and Honda transmission in Russells Point, as well as suppliers and logistics companies.
