A convicted Lima man was back in Allen County Common Pleas Court as he nears another trial for more crimes he may have committed.
21-year-old Jayleontre Harris was offered a plea deal in a pre-trial today for his second criminal case in two years. Last July, Harris was sentenced to 14 years in prison for aggravated burglary. Harris turned down a deal that would have him plea guilty to felonious assault with a firearm specification and have two other charges dropped. According to court documents these charges stem from May 18, 2016. The crime he was convicted on occurred one day later in 2016. A trial is set for July 9.
