LPD investigating an armed robbery at pizza place

The Lima Police Department is looking for two suspects that robbed a local restaurant at gunpoint. The department says that just before 9:30 pm Saturday night, two black men entered Bella Notta's pizza on South Main Street carrying handguns. The men ordered one of the employees to open the cash register and the rest of them to get down on the floor. They stole an undisclosed amount of money and fled the business.

11/17/19 Media release from Lima Police Department:

On Saturday, November 16th, 2019, shortly before 9:30pm, Lima PD officers responded to Bella Notta’s Pizza at 662 S. Main St. in reference to an armed robbery.  Two black male suspects entered the business, both brandishing handguns.  The suspects ordered employees to the ground and an employee was ordered to open the cash register.  The suspects stole an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register before fleeing from the business.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lima Police Department at (419)227-4444.
