The Leipsic Fire Department received a call around 5:30 p.m. regarding a shop that went up in flames at 9192 Road G, south of Leipsic. The owner of the shop was home at the time and made the call, reporting smoke coming out of the garage door, and flames inside the building. Along with Leipsic, fire departments from Miller City, Ottawa, and Glandorf also worked to put it out.

The cause is unknown at this time, and the structure, valued at $35,000, is deemed a total loss.
