president trump

President Trump will be visiting Wapakoneta on Sunday, September 22nd. According to the White House, the President will be touring a “new Australian-owned manufacturing facility” with the Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison. Pratt Industries, which recycles paper and manufactures cardboard boxes, is owned by Australian resident Anthony Pratt. The White House says the visit will demonstrate the strong trade and investment relationship between the United States and Australia. It was reported that the first phase of Pratt’s investment into the Wapakoneta plant is around $250 million. No other details have been released about his visit, except Wapakoneta will be the second stop for the president that Sunday. The President will be going to Houston first, where he will be at an event with the Prime Minister of India to talk about the strong ties between both countries. President Trump's first visit to our area was back in March when he toured the Joint Systems Manufacturing Center, which builds the Abrams Tank and Stryker vehicle for the military.
