Trent Lacy, 50, Van Wert, changed his plea to Guilty to OVI, 6th Offense in 20 Years, F4. The Court ordered a Pre-sentence investigation and set sentencing for 6/27/19 @ 1 pm.

SENTENCING

Travis Gaskill, 29, Van Wert, Weapon Under Disability, F3, sentenced to: 3 years community control, 2 yrs intensive probation, 30 days jail at later date, random drug screens, sub abuse and mental health assessment and treatment, ordered to pay monthly probation fee, plus court costs.

Tommy Searles, 56, Rockford, changed his plea to Guilty to several Counts: Identity Fraud, F3, Weapons Under Disability, F3, Engaging in Pattern of Corrupt Activity, F1, and 4 counts of Tampering with Records, F3. The Court ordered a pre-sentence investigation and set sentencing for 7/12/19 @ 9 am

Carolyn Searles, 59, Rockford, changed her plea to Guilty to Engaging in Pattern Corrupt Activity, F1, 2 counts of Tampering with Records, F3, and Complicity in Identity Fraud, F3. The Court ordered a pre-sentence investigation and set sentencing for 7/12/19 @ 9 am

Jesse Blackburn, 27, Delphos, changed his plea to Guilty to Trafficking Heroin, F4. He was then sentenced to: 15 months prison, consecutive to Allen County sentence that he is currently serving.

Kyle Anderson, 19, Willshire, changed his plea to guilty to: Unlawful Sexual Conduct with a Minor, F4, 2 counts of Illegal Use of Minor in Nudity oriented performance, F5, Importuning, F5, Disseminating Matter Harmful to Juveniles, M1. The Court ordered a pre-sentence investigation and set sentencing for 7/10/19 @ 9 am

BOND

Colby Black, 35, Ohio City, admitted to violating his bond by failing to appear to his weekly Electronic House Arrest checkup. The Court granted his request to be released from jail to go back EMHA on effective Monday, 6/10/19 @ 9 am.

Adam Partin, 26, Van Wert, was granted a request for a change in his bond to allow for medical treatment. His bond was modified to Electronic House Arrest effective Monday, 6/10/19 @ 9 am.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 5, 2019

CHANGES OF PLEAS

James Yates, 33, Van Wert, changed his plea to Guilty to Sexual Battery, F2, Sexual Battery, F3, Unlawful Sexual Conduct with minor F3, and 3 counts of Gross Sexual Imposition, F3. The Court ordered a pre-sentence investigation and set sentencing for 7/24/19 @ 9 am.

Adam Blatteau, 38, Van Wert, changed his plea to Guilty to Theft, F5. He was then granted Intervention in Lieu of Conviction and the case was stayed pending completion of the treatment program.

Michelle Sutton, 39, Willshire, changed her plea to guilty to Theft M1. 1 year community control, 90 days jail, all suspended, additional 30 days jail at later date, 52 hours community service, ordered to pay monthly probation fee, restitution of $6784, and costs.

TIME WAIVERS: The following persons signed time waivers in open court and requested additional time to prepare their cases:

VIOLATIONS

Brandi Runyon, 28, Van Wert, admitted to violating her probation and her judicial release by failing to complete treatment at Serenity Haven. Sentenced to: 17 months prison for each assault charge, concurrent with credit for 90 days served.

David Krieg, 26, Van Wert, admitted to violating his probation and his judicial release by failing to complete the WORTH Center program. Sentenced to: 16 months prison, credit for 111 days served.

SENTENCINGS

Tyler Dunn, 28, Van Wert, Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments, M1. Sentenced to: 3 years community control, 200 hours community service, 30 days jail at later date, substance abuse and mental health assessment and treatment, 2 years intensive probation, ordered to pay partial appointed counsel fees, monthly probation fee and costs.

Philip Raines, Sr. 30, Van Wert, 2 counts of Corrupting Another with Drugs, F4. Sentenced to: 17 months prison on each count, concurrent. Costs.
