Faculty members began striking January 22, 2019, and returned to classrooms on February 12th, after the tentative pact's approval Sunday. The nearly five-year deal includes contracts extending through June 2023. It calls for the roughly 560 members of Wright State's chapter of the American Association of University Professors to join a university-wide health care plan. Faculty will get up to a two and a half percent raise in 2022 and a two and a half percent raise in 2023.

The union says it made financial concessions in health care and other areas.
