Around 1:40 a.m. Wednesday morning, the Lima Police Department was called out to the 300 block of Collett Street for the reports of a burglary.
19-year-old Isahia Dyous was arrested at a different location and charged with suspicion of burglary and resisting arrest. According to the Lima Police Department, earlier in the evening, Dyous and 19-year-old Moesha Spence were having a dispute over a cell phone. Then early Wednesday morning, Spence says she was awoken by Dyous, who came in through an open window and then fled the scene.

On Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at approx. 1:40 am, officers from the Lima Police Department were dispatched to 321 N Collett St in reference to a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Moesha Spence (19 years old of Lima). Moesha told officers she and Isahia Dyous (19 years old of Lima) had been having a dispute over a cell phone earlier in the night. Moesha went back to her residence and went to sleep. During the night, she was awoken by noises coming from downstairs. Moesha discovered Isahia had entered her residence unwelcomed and uninvited through an unlocked window. Isahia fled the scene, but was located a short time later by LPD officers. Isahia was charged with Suspicion of Burglary and Resisting Arrest.
