One person was transported after their vehicle struck a pole in American Township Tuesday morning.

American Township fire crews and the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to a car-versus-semi crash on U.S. Route 30 on Monday evening.

Troopers from the Lima post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said that Maria Hollstein, 61 of Lima was taken to Saint Rita’s with serious, but not life-threatening injuries following the crash that happened around 8:30 pm at SR 309 and Baty Road.
