26-year-old Matthew Stockard is facing a charge of not complying with the order of a police officer after he led law enforcement on an eight and a half mile pursuit. According to the Findlay Police Department, around 1 a.m. on November 4th, officers saw Stockard's vehicle not stop for a red light on North Main Street. They tried to pull him over, but he refused. The pursuit did not get over 30 mph. Police deployed stop sticks, which damaged Stockard’s tires forcing him to stop.
The Lima Police Department says around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday night, officers went to stop a car for blowing through a stop sign. After a short pursuit, the car crashed into this house in the 700 block of North Collett Street. Police tell us two passengers were taken into custody, and a third person ran off. Police set up a perimeter and officers chased him but he got away.
A routine traffic stop turned into a hot pursuit in Findlay early Monday morning. The Findlay Police Department says just after midnight, an officer tried to pull over a Ford Mustang on Bright Road at Croy Drive for an expired registration and equipment violation. The driver sped off heading North, hitting speeds over 100 miles per hour, driving out of town.
Two Indiana men have been arrested after a chase through Auglaize and Shelby counties early Wednesday morning. According to the Wapakoneta post of the state highway patrol, troopers stopped a Chevy Trailblazer just after 1 a.m. Wednesday morning on I-75 outside of Wapakoneta. When the trooper started walking to the SUV, the driver took off in the southbound lane. The vehicle got off at the State Route 47 exit in Sidney and the driver and passenger got out of the SUV and fled on foot to a nearby hotel.

A Fairborn, Ohio man has been arrested after leading police on a chase through Shelby and Auglaize counties. 34-year-old Omar Rivera has been charged with one count of fleeing and eluding a police officer. Just after 10 p.m. Wednesday night, the Shelby County Sheriff's Office notified law enforcement in Auglaize County that they were in pursuit of Rivera and he was driving upstate Route 66.Â
The Ohio State Highway Patrol in Wapakoneta tells Your Hometown Stations that a pursuit happened Friday evening involving a juvenile suspect. Troopers say just after 7 p.m. a traffic stop was initiated, and the suspect didn't stop.
